Preview MSL 2013: Negeri Sembilan FA vs Terengganu FA

Negeri Sembilan first home match for the season is against Terengganu. In the previous round of MSL matches, Negeri Sembilan was beaten by Selangor, 0-1 at Shah Alam while Terengganu was held 1-1 by KL Felda United FC at home. Eventhough it is still early in the MSL season but I expect both teams to play for a 3 points. 

The last time that Negeri Sembilan won against Terengganu at STAR of Paroi was in 2010 when we beat them 2-1. Effa Owona, who last year was Negeri Sembilan's striker is now playing for the Turtles. A hostile reception from the Negeri Sembilan's fans should be expected, in the hope that he won't score goals against us. I hope that De Porras shows his true colours today or at least showing that he is better than Effa.

Negeri Sembilan's coach, Divaldo Alves should stick to his 4-2-3-1 formation with Norismaidham coming in to replace Rashid Mahmud in midfield and partner S. Sivanesan. I believe that De Porras will still be the lone striker up-front due to fitness problem of Shakir Ali and Firdaus Azizul, with Eddy Helmi as Attacking Midfielder, just behind him. Shahurain Abu Samah and Nazrin Nawi should continue in the flankers position. Paul Modibo, my Man of The Match last Tuesday will partner Azmeer Yusof once again in the centre backline. They should be helped by Fauzi Nan on the right and Tengku Qayyum on the left. Hamsani Ahmad will continue as the goalkeeper.

My prediction is a win for the Deer. Negeri Sembilan FA [2-1] Terengganu FA.
