Preview MSL 2013: Negeri Sembilan FA vs Perak FA

Negeri Sembilan's second home match for the season is against Perak at Paroi. Last year, Negeri Sembilan was coached by Mr Azraai Khor Abdullah who then quit and took over Perak's Head Coach role. Negeri Sembilan's goalkeeper, Farizal Marlias was also snatched up by Perak at the end of last season. In two seasons in Negeri Sembilan, both coach and player have won one Malaysia Cup in 2011 and one Charity Shield in 2012.

I expect a win for the Deer as Perak performances at Paroi were not as good as when they were at home. I can't remember when is the last time Perak win against Negeri Sembilan but as far as I'm concern, Negeri Sembilan will get at least a point in this encounter. Perak's players haven't got a goal registered to their names yet, as the only goal scored for them was an own goal from Terengganu T-Team in the first match.

In the last three seasons, Negeri Sembilan won 2 match and drew once at Paroi while Perak won all three encounter at Stadium Ipoh:-

I suggest Divaldo Alves to use 4-1-2-2-1 formation. Hamsani Ahmad bar from injuries should continue in goalkeeper role. Fauz Nan, Azmeer Yusof and Tengku Qayyum will continue in the defence. Paul Modibo should come back and replace Ghani Rahman at the center of the back four. Aliff should be employed as Defensive Midfielder in this match. He is slow but his robust tackle will benefit the team. Sivanesan and Norismaidham can be used in the Central Midfielder roles. 

Right wing is definitely belong to Shahurain as nobody else is capable to do what he did in every match. Nazrin Nawi who gets the nod in the last 3 matches on the left wing should be replaced by Eddy Helmi. Eddy's runs prove to be an asset in Negeri Sembilan's attack. He should do well there. In Striker role, Firdaus Azizul should continue if De Porras is still nursing an injury. If De Porras is available, he should be in the first eleven ahead of Firdaus.

My prediction is a narrow win for Negeri Sembilan. Negeri Sembilan FA [2-1] Perak FA.
